UMInk ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data through multiple layers of security, while also complying with major regulatory standards.

Storage Locations

UMInk operates data centers in Singapore, London (UK), and Frankfurt (Germany).
Users can freely choose where their data is stored.

Once uploaded, files are stored in encrypted form.

Why are my files stored in the Backup DC?

The Backup DC is a backup node located in Singapore.

When other data centers are under maintenance, UMInk temporarily enables the Backup DC for all users.

Data Transfer

All data is transmitted via the Cloudflare CDN network, which encrypts traffic while reducing latency when accessing data centers worldwide.

Storage Policy Migration

You can migrate your files between different data centers using the storage policy migration feature.

Subscriptions & Add-ons

You can purchase subscriptions or storage add-ons in the Store.

Pricing for subscriptions and add-ons can be found here.

Credits

1 credits = £1.00

You can top up credits in Settings – Finance.

Credits can be used to purchase subscriptions, add-ons, or other users’ premium shares.

Pro subscribers can create paid shares.
